Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent It was somewhat concerning to Henry that Professor Marchand kept mentioning about accidents and catastrophes happening if they did this or that, because what if something happened and there was a catastrophic accident? He was, at the very least, curious about what might happen. And really, what kept coming to mind was the accident that Paige had in Transfiguration when her skin looked like melted plastic. It was really hard to get that image out of his mind.
But he would make the effort as he hadn't had too much trouble yet with the spells, and he also kind of wanted to have some weather in a bottle. Of course, it had taken him several tries to cast them properly, but that was normally the way with new spells. It took him several attempts at least, depending on the skill level, before he could cast it with any efficacy.
But which spell to cast inside the bottle? Henry could think of reasons to have both the sun and to have rain at his fingertips when he needed them, so deciding was kind of hard. Oh.. he heard the professor say that if they finished early that they could try the other one as well, so hopefully he could get the first one done quickly and correctly so he had time for the other.
Deciding on casting the sunny weather into his bottle first, Henry grabbed the bottle from his desk and started twisting off the cap. Now.. holding the opening away from him but yet also at an angle that he could put his wand into it seemed a little tricky. Plus he'd have to get that cap back on quickly so the magic didn't escape... hmm.
