For those of you who wish to cast the same spell on yourselves or your belongings, the incantation is Impervius. Older students, please help your classmates with this if needed. For the rest of you..." With a flick of his wand, rain coats and hats appeared at each desk.

The Frenchman paused to give his students time to cast their Impervius charms and/or put on their rain gear. "This spell is a bit more difficult than the other one, but not exceedingly so," he said. "The incantation is Lluvia, pronounced Yoo-vee-uh." He aimed his wand toward the ceiling over his own desk so the students wouldn't be caught unprepared in the downpour, tracing a teardrop shape as he repeated the spell. A dark cloud appeared, pouring rain over Gaston's desk until he waved his wand again, and it vanished. "I'll give you a few minutes to practice this spell before we move on to today's activity. Go to it!"

OOC: We'll be moving on again in 20-24 HOURS. Happy practicing!
Oliver loved rain, and because he was kind of dramatic, he was happy to learn this charm so he could produce a rain cloud over him whenever he was in a bad mood because of his parents or sister. This was going to be great. And just so he could practice another charm, he decided he would do the one that would keep him from getting wet, which would also come in handy later on in his life. He poited his wand at himself and said, "Impervius" and just kind of hoped he'd done it right since there was no other way to test it then to do the lluvia charm.

Now that he was ready to go, he went over his notes again to make sure he had the pronunciation written down correctly. Once he was sure, he raised his wand above his head, closed his eyes, and said, "Lluvia!". Oliver waited to feel the impact of the water hitting him but it never came. Figuring he was safe enough, he opened his eyes and beamed at the sight of rain drops falling from a dark cloud above him. Success! He was so ready to start using both of the charms he'd learned today all over the school.

And nooow he was going to get to put weather in a bottle, which was really so much cooler. He never really knew what the point in it was since he could just...do the charm himself, but whatever. This was the activity and he was going to do it and he was going to enjoy it.

Oliver picked up the bottle on his desk and uncapped it. Making sure to hold the top away from him, he glanced at his notes and decided Lluvia would be better to have in a bottle than the sunshine charm. Then he pointed his wand at the top, which felt kind of weird, honestly. "Lluvia!" He watched as a little cloud formed into the bottle, and then he pulled his wand out but accidentally dropped it along with the bottle and watched his little rain storm flow out of the bottle. Oops. Maybe this bit was going to be a little harder than he expected.
