He braced the cold as he ran towards the joke shop, hoping she was still there.
He was about to open the door when he saw the sign out front. Free pygmy puffs for more than a 2 galleon purchase? Hmm. If ever Rian was going to be mad at him for being so late, maybe a pygmy puff will be able to help him get back to her good graces? But didn't she already have one? He wasn't sure. Anyway, that was going to be the case if she got mad. Owen decided he'll just cross that bridge when he got there.
So with a deep breath, the badger went inside and began searching for his friend...which didn't take long as she was pretty easy to spot and smell. Here's to hoping I didn't ruin her mood. "Rian!" He called out, walking towards the girl.
Time was passing but she had no idea how long it had been since she entered the shop. It might have been five minutes or maybe thirty. What she did know was it was warm in here and there was no longer snow clinging to the bottom of her black boots.
A shout of her name drew her attention from whatever she was looking at the voice unmistakable before she even saw the face. "Owen!," the small red head exclaimed spinning around to greet her fellow Hufflepuff. "What kept you?" Now she was simple teasing him here as she had no idea if he was on time or an hour late and honestly she wouldn't have minded if he was late. All she cared to know was that he had arrived and in one piece, a bit snow covered and flushed in the face probably from the wind but he'd made it.
"What should we check out first?" Did he have a clue about this stuff because she didn't.
