Education up at Hogwarts had been going on for a while so Emerald got excited as the first Hogsmeade weekend for students and staff got closer. When the day came she made sure the displays and signs out front were as big and in vivid colours as she liked them to be.

A new sign said "FREE PYGMY PUFFS IF YOU BUY PRANKS FOR MORE THAN 2 GALLEONS!" and another said "SNEAKOSCOPES AND EXTENDABLE EARA 10% DISCOUNT!"

Satisfied she headed back into her shop with a box of skiving snackboxes under one arm and a box of tongue tieing pastilles under the other.
