She tried not to look disappointed when he let go of her hand, but she distracted herself with the food that was on the menu. "I've never surfed nor zip lined in my entire life." Surfing did sound fun minus the falling off the board part of it, but thought of zip lining scared her... She looked at his bracelet and commented, "I love it! Is it handmade?" She shrugged a little at his question about her break. "I stayed a few days in Nevada with Uncle Logan then we went to South Africa to see Uncle Nick... Since my family is scattered everywhere, it seems we're always on the road." She paused for a second. "I did get to see mum for a week. It was nice." "Yeah it was but sometimes unexpected planning can make the best memories.." Where did he hear that from? Ah right. He found it on a quote somewhere in the store. He smirked at her comment and even her blushing. "Well I like your black dress. Simple yet elegant which describes you perfectly. Although your mind is unique which drew me to you.." he reached for her hand again since he knew she liked it. He squeezed it. She seemed stunned by it all. Surely she had boyfriends before. He had a few flings but nothing too serious. He raised his eyebrows in astonishment. "Well then I will have to make sure to take you surfing and zip lining possibly this summer.." he said making a mental note to ask his parents to take one of his friends.
When he showed her his bracelet, he nodded answering the question if it was homemade. "Yeah it was made in australia so I guess so?" he shrugged. His mother got in a market somewhere while he was out catching waves. Woah now there were countries he never been to before. "Woah I never been to Nevada or South Africa even. What is like?" Now he was curious. "That's nice you close with your mum?" He knew he was but something to know about Juliette.
