He got up and pulled the chair out for Juliette to sit in. Then he went back to his seat and smiled.
"Heyy Juliette.." he replied back to her a few minutes later. He felt like an idiot but she took him off guard. "Wow you look amazing.." he gestured towards her outfit. "Glad you could make it.." he beamed at her. "I know it was short notice and all. I hope I wasn't too lame with the whole owl mailing thing.." he shrugged and stopped his rambling and was gonna let her speak. While he did that, he took a sip of his water.
Juliette took a seat when he pulled the chair out for her and got herself comfortable. "Thank you," she replied to his comment. "I do feel way overdressed though..." If she had known it was suppose to be a casual date, she would of worn something different. She shook her head a little when he brought up how he invited her to this. "It was cute, Colt." In all honesty, she had not seen that one coming. He could get any girl in the school, and he had chosen her to take on a date? "I didn't mind it being short notice because I'm happy to see you."
She picked up the menu now and added, "How was your Christmas break?" She had decided on her drink before the waitress arrived. The usual: pumpkin juice. Anything pumpkin flavored was delicious.
