There were many sinister reasons Jacobi could have been in the back alley in Hogsmeade, but none of which were legitimately true for the actual reason why she was here.
No, there were just discarded trinkets from the various shops, all at her fingertips. Things that were fun to experiment with, and other things that would simply make elegant decorations once she finished fixing them up artistically. Ignore the girl rummaging about the rubbish bins, please.
