A second Harry Potter official shop will open in London, this time at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 this November, in ties with the theatrical release of
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The store, aptly called The Harry Potter Shop, will sell merchandise from the
Harry Potter film series,
Fantastic Beasts, and the London production of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The first store opened in London can be found at King's Cross station, called
The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 3/4.
The new 600 sq.ft. store will be situated following the security check in Terminal 5 and will open in time for the 18th November release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ highly anticipated Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, an all-new adventure that opens up a whole new era of magic. THE HARRY POTTER™ SHOP will sell items from across J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World including collectibles, apparel, accessories, gifts, novelties and souvenirs from Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station and merchandise from the West End hit play ‘Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts One and Two’, and newly released products from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The store will be visited by more than 16 million passengers traveling around the globe and coming through Heathrow Terminal 5 each year. THE HARRY POTTER™ SHOP has been produced by Jonathan Sands (Chief Executive of the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾ King’s Cross Station) and in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Speaking ahead of the launch of the shop just in time for Christmas 2016, Jonathan Sands of The Harry Potter Shop, said, “We are proud to be opening THE HARRY POTTER SHOP at Heathrow Terminal 5, in partnership with Warner Bros.
