 Post 1 Mischievous Niffler
Professor Newton had set a very ambitious project for them. What could she, Kitty, possibly invent? True, she liked solving mysteries and riddles, but coming up with a brand new invention was much harder. She put her Ravenclaw brain to the task and tried to come up with something.
Think...what were her passions? Well...fashion was one passion. But of all the things that could be invented to make the world a better place, she didn't think another kind of makeup would be anywhere near the top of the list. The world already had a ton of great styles and makeups, both magical and Muggle.
Another of her passions was solving mysteries, such as the time she solved the mystery of the Tapestry on the fourth floor. But she couldn't think of a related invention at the moment, so she moved on to the next idea. If she couldn't think of anything else she could come back to this one.
Next idea: Something to make you never grow old. If Kitty had her way she would never grow older than thirty. Was that bad? If it was she didn't feel any guilt over it, because to her it was natural to want to stay young. But when it came to inventions, the best Kitty could come up with at the moment was a Philosophers Stone rip-off. Humph!
Moving on...
An image of a Black Tear popped into her head. She imagined it made out of crystal hanging around her neck like a necklace. What did it do? It was beautiful. Kitty wanted it right now. She imagined a hidden power that it possessed, but what power was that?
Excited, Kitty got up and selected a black crayon and a piece of paper. She began to color as an idea formed in her head... |
