post 5 Mischievous Niffler The dark forest was one of coolest scenes in the movie, at least in Kitty's opinion. Everything from the crow to the flying monkeys was well done. "Wicked!" she exclaimed quietly as they came upon the guards chanting what seemed like "Oreo, Oreo!" The scene with the hourglass was the darkest in the movie, though of course Kitty was much too old to be frightened by it. You could hear her clapping when the Wicked Witch was melting. "Sorry," she muttered afterwards in case that bothered anyone.
Kitty knew the movie was coming to a close as they returned to Oz. That was too bad because watching a movie with her friends while eating snacks was probably the best type of lesson she'd ever experienced. Hopefully they could do this again next time, with another movie of course.
Oz's secret was discovered (thanks to Toto!) then and he explained his story. Kitty strongly disagreed with the advice he gave the Tin Man, but she knew he meant well. To his credit he offered to take Dorothy back home in his balloon, but unfortunately his balloon floated away before she could enter and poor Dorothy was stuck. Everything was fixed by Glinda. Dorthy clicked her shoes and said 'There's no place like home," and she was back home. |
