That next question though... Rula was quiet for a few seconds as she considered it. "A little, I guess. Or...mostly I am. It depends, I guess. "I could never! I think I'd look quite silly with short hair, Ru." She'd even tucked some hair into her collar once, situating it
just so she could see. Only short hair made her eyes look even bigger than usual and her ears bigger, too. It just wasn't a good look for her, she'd decided.
The second year listened very carefully to her older sister, the corners of her mouth tugging downward at the thought of bad days happening to someone she loved so, so much. It was cruel that the best people of the world, people like Rula, had to have those days. If she was in charge, she'd save them all up for people who did bad things but she wasn't in charge, not yet.
"I'm a little sad every day but I used to be a lot sad every day, so I guess that's an improvement. I don't really have anyone to share my pictures with anymore, though. He liked them best of all."
