Paige didn't seem to be dying so Charlotte figured she should just go ahead and keep trying the spell. Definitely try the snakeskin thing though, she could at least wrap her head around how that made sense, and stuff making sense was the most important thing for her when it came to being able to successfully cast a spell.
"Mutare Pellem!" Char swished her wand over her arm again, her tongue poking out the corner of her mouth a tiny bit in concentration.
