After they were done, Angelo pulled back and took a moment to consider what they had just seen. Something about it didn't ring right to Angelo. Just by the way the suspect seemed to.... respond to the interrogator, elaborating only on the things that would catch attention, casting other things aside, and generally dangling bait in front of a fish. That was what he got from it.

"I don't think it was him." He said slowly. "I think..... he wanted them to think it was him. That was why there were so many leading statements. I think he was covering for someone else, purposefully trying to draw it out and keep the heat on himself while someone else got away with it."
