Hattie just beamed as the Professor talked. She was happy that she had kind of been right. She was especially happy since she hadn't really known about the star. But she would do some night time reading about astronomy, so that for the next lesson she would know more! That was important. She wanted to learn as much as possible
But onto the next task. She was really excited about this! To find a star that was the same starlight age as herself. So she was finding a star that was 12 years old. That couldn't be too hard right? Or at least she was hoping that it woudn't be. She was excited about finding a star. Stars were cool.
Harriet began by looking in her textbook. So that she could find a star that was 12 years old like she was. She leant in pretty close to the book, so she could concentrate really hard on it. So there was
Tau Ceti which was 11.9 light years away, which she figured kind of made the star 12 years old. She double checked to make sure there were no other stars before she picked that one, but she decided to go with that one. Before looking for the star Hattie began to write her notes down

Happy with her notes, Harriet moved on to looking for the star. She began by trying to spot it with her naked eye, since it was pretty close. But she wasn't sure it would work, but she gave it a try for now.
