Nevertheless, he let the boy pass by before closing the door and moving over towards his desk. The look on Daxton's face in response to his office had been missed in the man'a attempt to clear his desk and, not so subtley, fold the letter up and place it off to one side.
Settling down in his chair, Hirsch looked up in time to see Daxton moving over towards the bookshelves. He didn't have a problem with this whatsoever but what he did have a slight problem with was the tugging of a drawer, as if the boy was going to find some kind of treasure in there. "You're not going to find anything of interest in there, Mr Prince," Unless you counted some paperwork and extra books on slightly darker subjects as interesting. "Come and take a seat." Yes, near the hideous desk. As a matter of fact, Daxton did count those things as interesting. In fact, anything that he was steered away from, that he was not supposed to be looking at - including paperwork and extra books on slightly darker subjects - were considered to be very interesting indeed. Ravenclaws were supposed to be intelligent, and a certain degree of curiosity definitely accompanied that when it came to Daxton Prince.
He stayed stood exactly where he was for a few more moments, considering the drawer and other things, before stepping away and back towards the desk. The hideous desk.
Sitting himself down into a seat, Daxton turned his attention back to Hirsch, glancing at him for only a second before looking back to the letter on the desk, which had by now changed position. He paused for just a moment, then leaned back in the chair - casual, but not relaxed, and not at all with the body language that might be expected from someone who was facing either a superior, or anyone in a position of authority... perhaps because he saw Hirsch as neither of those things. While he waited for his Head of House to speak, Daxton looked, not at Hirsch, but just past him, and folded his arms across his chest.
