Rula had figured she could try to get a bit of studying done before bed, so she'd curled up on her bed with her Muggle Studies textbook, but before she got too far into a chapter, there was a knock and a familiar voice at the door.
"Oh, sure," she answered with a smile, setting aside her book and patting the empty space in front of her. "Come on up here, Juni."
The second year scrambled up onto her sister's bed, settling in front of the older girl so that she could start braiding.
"I can never get the bottom right. It gets all tangled when I try." Which was terribly frustrating when you liked to do things for yourself.
"Hey Ru? Are you feeling any happier?" Her voice was quiet, questioning. The start of term hadn't been so great but she hoped things would be getting easier.
