The fact that he actually asked her about the book earned Zeke a kiiiiiiind of unimpressed look. "Doesn't matter." As if to demonstrate exactly that, she carefully placed it on the floor next to her. There, problem solved. She then went back to grinning at him. Now what? If he didn't already know what she liked, then he'd have considered himself troubled in their relationship - so YES, he knew she liked things. But on top of that, her grin said it all. With her legs on his lap, he had no interest in opening another book, which wouldn't be in his best interest in the long term. Assignments were beginning to pile up...
Oh well.
Zeke was kind of relying on Maggie here, to help him with the study thing. However, when she said the book didn't matter and abandoned it like his own, he wasn't at all upset. He kinda figured by her expression that she hadn't planned to study at all. He could work with that. He could definitely work with that.
"Oh really?" he mused, checking their surroundings to see who might be watching. As much as he liked an audience, an adult audience was not desirable right now. Deciding the coast was clear, Zeke turned slightly on the spot so that he could lean closer toward Maggie, close enough to give her the kiss that he'd been waiting for. Hello girlfriend.
