If Charlotte was inclined to do the animagus thing (which she wasn't), armed with the instructions of how to go about it, she'd just.... go ahead and do it on her own, now that she knew what they were. However she was also kiiind of zoning out because that was a LOT of talking. A LOT of notes. A LOT of boring.

But they were at least learning a spell! Charlotte.... put her hand up though.
"Change the skin how, professor?" Because she hadn't said that. Changing the skin could mean anything! And the incantation only gave away that the skin would change, and not how.
