Too bad he did not have any potions then this could really be a party! Quote:

This was the best, even her Medusa snakes were getting into it! OOOH! "Over here, Peeves! Thanks! You're the best!" Char hollered and grabbed one of the tacos that was thrown. What an awesome poltergeist, right??? Quote:

Speaking of the ghost, he wanted to lead. "That's....actually a good idea." Blaise admitted, thinking it through for a moment. "And you can part the crowd for us if people are unwilling to make way for the conga line." Kinda like those ice breakers at the fronts of muggle ships that travelled over icy water. This was starting to sound more and more like a great idea--even if the Ravenclaw was right and they wouldn't entirely be able to avoid the Friar...not the person directly behind him anyway.
Blaise was all set the motion the line into being when....Peeves happened. Throwing tacos. Yelling. Being Peeves really.
A taco flew right at the boy's chest. He'd only barely managed a fumble to catch it before looking up to the Poltergeist again. If this was Hogwarts' idea of a food delivery service, it would need work but Blaise wouldn't waste a perfectly good taco. He may not have been as verbal in his gratitude as Char but food was food and the boy bit in. "Taco conga line then." Might as well. The two older students had managed to plan the ghost joining the conga line. Jasper was relieved that he didn't need to negotiate with the ghost, based on Peeves and Miffy's reactions to not being allowed to marry...
He didn't want an angry ghost to deal with.
No thanks, please find another student to bother.
A grin crossed his face though, before realising that someone might have to be behind the friar. Dibs not, he thought to himself, though the ghost was very excited. "You really like dancing don't you mate... uh... sir?" the Australian commented, before realising referring to a centuries dead old ghost as mate was probably rude. No angering ghosts, the Ravenclaw reminded himself.
Peeves appearing and throwing tacos was unexpected, especially when all of this planning had already happened. But it proved his point about angering ghosts being a bad idea...
The benefit was now he didn't need to go and grab a taco. Dodging one of them, which narrowly missed his newly silver hair, a caught another one that almost flew passed.
They were actually really good! |
