Genny munched on the apple she grabbed care-free of how much she had to open her mouth to get most of the sweet juice. She nodded along Henry's words. "I don't know how you do it, but you always put a positive spin on everything." She flashed him a grin before taking another bite of her (well, his) apple. "I'll remember to come to you when I'm sad about something." He was really one of the few people she knew who did that.

Was she enjoying this year so far? "Eh." She gave him a shrug, finishing off the apple. "I'd rather go to my brother's and have some lazy fun days there, so I guess not really." Lots of factors contributed to this, but she wasn't miserable so that was good, right?

Genny liked that her question made him laugh, she smiled at him as he did. "Diplomatic answer. I don't hear anything. Except that Hugo and that pretty girl from Slytherin Brooklyn might be secretly dating. And I heard that in the common room accidentally." Sadly, she had no close girl friends who gossiped and the male friends she had were more interested in books than anything else. So, Henry was her last resort.... who also turned out to be a fail at this. "Nah. Nothing special. You?" And because she wanted to play, she swung her arm backwards and shot the apple's core towards the lake with all her Beater-arm strength.
