She bit her lip as she finally pulled back from the taller boy and she took a deep breath, hopefully the water works were kept at bay for the moment.

Though she felt herself get a bit misty as he said he had missed her too.

"Really? " She was glad to hear that, part of her thought she had done something to make him leave, she hoped that wasn't the case though. Because she had spent the better part of a year racking her brain to find out what she could have done..

Crying and being clingy was all she had come up with.

How had she been? Fwoopers did he have a few months?

"Uhh..I don't even know where to begin.. So let's start with you?" She said rather breathlessly..
Jasper had a little sister, which made him immediately notice the tears in Azura's eyes. Water works was something he was used to, though she seemed determined not to cry right now. He briefly considered pulling her into another hug, but then he figured that might actually make her cry and she probably wouldn't want that right now.

As soon as she asked really, the boys head tilted to the side. He blinked at her for a second, not really believing that she would be able to think that he wouldn't have missed her. "Of course" he assured her, though he hesitated before continuing. You're my best friend." That much was definitely true. Even if he hadn't seen her in a year. Outside his family he was certain she was his only friend. His stomach dropped, a frown crossing his face for a second as his left hand moved to run itself through his hair. The green eyes looked at her guiltily. "Sorry for not sending an owl..."

He definitely needed to apologise for that. Jazz didn't have a clue what must have gone through her head at his disappearance. She deserved that apology.

"Nothing really..." he mused as he thought about his last year. The smile briefly dropped off his face for the reason behind his disappearance, though it quickly returned. "I stayed in Aus, dad homeschooled me for the last year which was kind of cool. Fliss joined in."

She was pretty good, and would definitely be ahead no matter where she decided to attend school.

"I live a boring life," he joked.
