Azura.
The girl who had kept him fretting their entire first year about her safety. He hadn't seen her yet, and he wasn't sure how she'd respond if he had tried to find her. After all, he hadn't come to Hogwarts last year.
She seemed shocked to have found him now.
He was equally as shocked that she had found him in this quiet area. What was he meant to say? Hi didn't really seem to cut it. Especially because he hadn't even sent her an owl explaining his absence.
But then what else was there to say? "Hey Azura," he greeted with a shy smile, quickly setting his guitar down as he moved to pick up her stuff for her and hand it to him. She couldn't be angry at him if he helped, right? It WAS him.. Standing there before her was her best friend.. The boy she had befriended at the train station, the one whom she still missed to this day..
He was back?
She bit her lip as she tried not to cry.. So many questions were coming to her head, where had he been? Had she made him leave? Did he still want to be her friend? Her thoughts were moving a mile a minute as she started wide-eyed at him before she saw that shy smile at him and heard her name leave his lips.
That was enough for her.
The moment he set his guitar down, the small third year Ravenclaw was leaving her stuff and dashing quickly across the stands, to throw her arms around the boy whom still haunted her thoughts.. "I've missed you so much." She whispered as she hugged him tightly. "Jazz." She wasn't going to cry.. she wasn't going to cry.. |
