Of course she wouldn't use it on him. Charlotte of all people knew how he felt about having spells cast on him and she was one of his nicer friends. There were several people he'd sooner see casting that at him than her. "Yeah...I guess..." He mused, paying more attention to the music than the magic talk if he was being perfectly honest. "But I meant something that would give the snakes the power to turn people to stone themselves." If that sort of thing was even possible.

Much like he was sure his quill was, the boy found himself oddly disappointed with that response. It was so very.....clear cut. So straightforward. Dude just didn't like dancing and Char had plans to dance with everyone she had a mind to. "Oh." Literally his only comment as he tossed aside the response.

"I should have dragged Bentley out here. We could'a started a conga line." Which....probably didn't match the rhythm and pace of this particular music very well but so what?
