Wrong idea
It wasn't Lily and she was still walking as she looked and didn't see when she knocked right into someone. Stumbling and gripping the person to try to break a fall she looked. UGH, it was Brooklyn, really? If Brooklyn was here she assumed he was here. Her eyes darted around, because if he was she was out of there. The skeleton mariachi band hadn’t grown on Brooklyn. In fact, she’d merely continued eyeing them as she finished the cookie in her hand. To the extent that, for the most part, she hadn’t really deigned to pay attention to anyone else around. It wasn’t important, seeing as they were either off at the other sections of the party or were basically too occupied to concern themselves with the queen. If they didn’t think it important, she certainly didn’t feel like she ought to either. Instead, she continued occupying herself with deciding if she liked the music and the party in general.
Sipping the drink in her other hand, she’d barely noticed as someone had come closer. Until they had so rudely collided with her and she looked over to give whoever was clinging to her arm a look. One of her best Cersei looks, even, which became easier as she realized exactly who it was. Not exactly someone she had a very good opinion of, for more than one reason. “You should pay more attention to where you’re going,” she said archly, shaking her arm to loosen the grip Nat had on it.
