Maybe other party venues should take note, eh?
His feet took him towards the taco bar because, well, a man had to eat, yeah? The first person he happened to see was none other than Tenacius Salander, a Gryffindor who looked a lot older in his costume than he would've guessed. Scary, wasn't it? Please don't grow up any quicker, Salander, the rate you're going at is fast enough.
And standing next to him? None other than-
................ Hold on. Tattoos. That lean. That look.
Had......... had Hadley Denaker dressed up as HIM?!
It was in that moment that this Indiana Jones lost it. Completely. No force in this world was going to stop him from laughing at the sight of Hadley Denaker with tattoos drawn on her arm - which had better be fake, by the way - and a lean that looked as though she had studied the way he leant against object. Classic. Why didn't he have a camera on him?
And so, he approached the two of them. Tacos could wait, for now. "Nice outfit, Mr Salander. You look a lot older than thirteen." He turned his head towards the Ravenclaw, smirking slightly. "Yours is spot on as well, Haddie. Or, should I say, Professor." Let's see if the act was as good as the look. Quote:

Its really good!...." he offered mumbling between crunchy bites. "And hey thanks for like all of this--" careless gesturing over his hair and makeup. The convenience of having plenty of girl friends is that theres always somewhere to raid for make-up eh?
But ok, he's been staring at her arms for a while now, feeling it extremely familiar but couldnt quite put his finger on the why. Also Hadley's outfit, and her demeanor. Also why on earth is she calling him like she's talking to his fathe-- "---Ohhh!!" yeah it hits him now. Point point excitedly with his corn chip and dripping salsa "Professor Hirsch!"
Which speaking of the devil, or rather fedora'd archeologist, he suddenly hears the moment he said the name. Talk about Beetlejuice moment right there. "Professor!" he greets the Defense Instructor, appropriate given who he is and who the character he's cosplaying as. He was chuckle pointing between Haddie and the real Professor Hirsch, clearly he was getting a kick out this.
Oh and a compliment on his own cosplay "Thank you Sir!... oh right yeah, Aging Potion. Bettlejuice is kinda old and scraggy and yeah...." and this was as close as he was ever gonna get to that, being personally unhappy with this hobo hair the first time he saw himself in Potions class. But sure works for him now eh? "You gotta whip Sir? And do you know how to use it?"
And hey hey hey guess who floated by "Happy five-nine-eight Sir Nick! Cant want to see five-nine-nine!" Oh hey look its mini fig Batman, doing the detective thing of course "I dunno..." munch munch munch "-- I guess I'll be this hungry several years down the line?" bbecause Aging potion also covers future appetites yes? no? "Wanna quesadilla?" he offered the boy.
But far be it for him to be visited by the Dark Knight and not inquire about his beloved city "How be the streets of Gotham tonight oh World's Greatest Detective?" Hadley Hirsch simply nodded. Though it was hard not to grin as wide as she could when Ace guessed her costume. His reaction had been priceless, but she had to keep in character. "You're very welcome, Mr. Salander. All that hard work turned out great." His costume really did turn out great. Even if it was weird to see him so much older than he was. Like really weird. "Glad I could be of help."
Hadley turned toward the bar, and started to prepare her own tacos. She'd start with two and if still hungry come back for a third. That seemed to be smartest. Hadley had just finished scooping the meat into her taco shells when she heard it. That signature laugh. Allowing herself a moment to grin, ear to ear, Hads quickly composed herself and turned back to face the real Professor Hirsch. She almost cracked a smile at his own costume. Almost. "Ah, Professor Jones!" she said with a nod of her head and turned back to finish making her tacos. "How's the treasure hunting going?" Some lettuce, tomato, and cheese thrown into her tacos and they were ready. Hadley leaned back against the bar as she ate. "I trust you'll be joining the dueling club this term? Professors are allowed." How was she doing, Hirsch?
