Roo ducked his head sideways to plant a kiss on her cheek, testing the waters and hovered just before her face with a grin.

"Can I kiss you now?"

"It would be nice if you started acting like it again." Because you didn't hurt people that were important to you, or disbelieve them when they hadn't done anything wrong. But she REALLY wanted to be friends again too and she'd forgiven Blaise, why not Rooney as well? He was worth getting a chance right? That was why she had written to his mother during the summer because she still cared. But she really wished he would trust her and believe her and not make up things in his head. Maybe he could learn?

"I know that." Sigh. She KNEW okay? But apparently that hadn't been enough. And now he was being all confusing and unexpected with his timing and-- Char's eyes widened and she froze when he kissed her cheek. She glanced at him, turning her face only the slightest bit so she could see him. Why was he grinning like that? WHY WAS ROONEY BRONWYN SO CONFUSING?

"....I don't think that's a good idea." A hug though.... that would be an okay idea, right? They could be friends again? Hugs were a good place to start? But kisses... he would probably end up making her cry again.

"It wouldn't be smart of me to let you." She whispered, trying not to notice that it felt different being near him now that she was taller in comparison to him than what she had been before.
