Plopping herself on the ground in front of her table, Paige glanced over at Nat when she spoke. Blindfolds? Oh...the Hufflepuff hadn't even noticed them until just now. "Could be," she said with a small shrug. "I wouldn't put it past Professor Myers to have us show plants some tender, love, and care by dressing them up for the holidays as well." Or at least decorating pots. She could sense that the Slytherin was nervous, but didn't quite understand why. "You're already wearing a form mask though," she said, pointing to that part of her costume. If, you know, Nat had an aversion to things around her eyes and blocking her vision - she knew some people like that including daddy. "Daddy doesn't fancy them either, masks included. Make him feel clostrophobic with his periferal vision so limited." Although...Nat was in form fitting everything, really. Paige both admired and felt jealous of all those who were able to do that sort of thing...which seemed to be quite a few of her classmates.
She would just sit her in her usual robes though, thanks.
Paige some how knew what to say to calm Nat at times and really make her smile in these lessons. "I wouldn't mind doing that to be honest." It would be a fun idea to dress up some of the plant. She could so she Professor Myers doing that too. It could happen, really it could. She looked at Paige as she mentioned her own mask she was wearing today. "These have the eyes out though. I can see things. I... I can't do things over my face that I can't see. It's just not a good outcome." Panic attack central and Paige would get the blunt of it sitting next to her.
Turning her brown eyes on the Professor as he got started she could probably have been heard sighing with relief as he said it was optional, but she did lift her hand. "What if we can't do blindfolds, but would want to close our eyes to touch it. Could we do that?" She wouldn't mind touch the gross whatever, but the blindfold was certainly a no.
She watched the others carefully as they went up to do the activity. Really she felt like she was missing the fun by not being able to do the blindfold, but she had her reasons. She knew it was for the best of everyone to sit there. If she couldn't close her eyes to do it she'd just look at it to guess. KEEP UP THE SEARCH
