He didn't really have a social life as he had never felt the need for one. "So long as I'm not occupying too much of your time.'' He offered a smile. "Th- thank you for agreeing to the lessons.''
Another thing he and Ansley had in common. Zach had no idea why he was keeping a tab on what they had in common, to be honest. "I suppose you got too busy to spend time here after a while.'' He shook his head. "I am looking for somewhere closer because of work. Not much luck so far but I'm adjusting.'' Lucky Ansley for living close by to this nice park. Now if he too could be that lucky. "Thanks! But no, I didn't.'' Zack looked sheepishly over at Ansley. "I'm not much of the party kind of guy unless you count making yourself mac and cheese dinner and reading a book or listening to music.'' He liked music a lot. Well, it sounded like Zach was free most of the time outside work hours so that seemed to leave the scheduling up to him. "How about Thursday evenings?" he suggested. Ansley had a shortened schedule at the university on those days and it would be a little easier, he thought. "Whatever time works for you." He smiled softly. "It's no trouble. It's what I enjoy doing." And he wouldn't mind sharing that with someone else.
He looked around at the park and nodded. "Yes, I suppose I did. When I taught at Hogwarts, I was expected to be there nearly 24/7," he chuckled. Maybe not really, but it was close enough in his mind. "Made it hard to do things that weren't strictly essential, But it's nice to enjoy the simple things too." He nodded lightly in understanding. "I'm sure something will turn up just when you are least expecting it. In the meantime, I suppose we can be thankful for flooing and apparating," he added with a chuckle. That did make things awfully convenient.
Ansley gave him a good-natured shrug. "It doesn't matter what you do whether it's low-key or a big celebration, as long as you treat yourself a little." And Zach did seem like the more low-key type, which was perfectly fine too. What he did sounded like something he enjoyed.
