No sense in getting the boy all excited before they knew everything was well and good. "That's all. Just the salad and some tea would be nice." Addi smiled reaching for Connor's hand and gently squeezing his fingers. They were ready for this and she was sure Koen would be thrilled.
Connor laughed. "That's true. It would explain why he likes ice cream so much. And meat and potatoes. His mother made him addicted.'' This was something he could get used to troubling Addi about this. He had better make sure he stocked up on all the stuff Addison craved for when said cravings actually began.
The man wasn't too worried about Koen being jealous. It was possible this was why he had not thought of the situation sooner. Connor nodded to Addi's suggestion. "That's a good suggestion. When are you going to see the Healer?'' Connor wanted to go with her. He squeezed his wife's fingers gently back. Her hands were always so soft and welcoming. "I think I'll hold your hand a little longer.'' Meaning food would have to wait for now.
