She wrinkled her nose when the smell got to her. She smiled at the professor because she couldn't choke out a hello and took a seat towards the back, instead of her usual front row. Mhm. Scarlett LOVED potions. There was something weirdly satisfying to her about adding things to a pot, saying some words and stirring the concoction and then getting something really cool at the end of it. It was probably also why she liked cooking. As she entered class, she found it already pretty packed - but there was an open seat next to her dorm mate Lucy, and Scarlett was feeling particularly chatty today, so she skipped over and plopped down next to her.
"Hey Lucy! How's it going?" she asked with a grin as she pulled out her notes. She turned to the Potions Master and smiled at him, giving him a wave and not wanting to be rude by not greeting him too.
