He was ten already and going off to Hogwarts next year she was sure but in her eyes he was just a little boy still. One that she wanted to be just as happy about this news as they were. "Is that so? Is a nice chicken salad healthy enough?" she teased lightly eyeing him. It was salad yes? So what if there was chicken in it. As for dessert Addi gave her husband a bright smile. The man knew her all to well.
"I understand that you always try your best, Addi.'' Emphasis on the always. There was that laugh he loved! It had Connor laughing too. At her mentioned of steak and potatoes, he groaned. "Do I? I was the one who had to make it for you every time!'' He was not complaining though as he would instantly give into giving Addison whatever she craved. "You're the boss, Addi.'' Connor knew better than to argue with the wife when she had her mind made up. He loved her determination.
"I hadn't thought of that. You don't think he'll be jealous, do you?'' It was impossible to predict the behaviour of kids sometimes. Though Koen was not exactly a kid anymore. "Hmmm.'' Connor pretended to ponder the question. "That sounds perfect actually. Is that all?'' He'd place their order when she was ready.
