He sent Birth Announcement cards? Huh. Beezus stared at him for a moment before shrugging, "Nope. Didn't get any." Except maybe she did and just wasn't able to see it. In fact, she had a lot of those cards over the past few years and they all went by...unopened. Anyhow.....she was here now and she was back to being present in her friend's lives and that was more important. "Catherine, yeah? If I didn't know it was your mum's name I would've thrown a fit that you didn't name her after me." She told the former Slytherin with a smirk.
Then the daycare lady arrived. Beezus smiled at her a said and small, "Hi." She could remember her from when she went here with Elliot last week.
The brunette watched the lady who went by the name Athena walk away before turning back to her friend, "As you can see, I'm splendid, Orangefeet." Wink. She could still wink at him, right? "Been here and there. Did some travelling after I graduated from uni. Just the usual, hiking through the swiss alps, flew with seahorses, went to swim with some domesticated merpeople, lived for a bit with centaurs, married a pirate and gave birth to 3 of his children." She said with a chuckle in response to his query. She was probably kidding about most of them. It wasn't that she didn't want to tell Mordred where she has been the years prior, it was that she didn't know where to start.
"Am I going to see Catherine soon, Dred?" Beezus asked as she brought her cheek to Noah's and lightly rubbed hers against his. "Come on, little guy. Say Beezus. Bee-zus." He was so squishy!
