As if to check the validity of this statement, the blonde moved her face closer to the flames, trying to discern if there was actually blood powering up the rune.
"I have Othola." The mispronunciation was an accident as Liv had never heard the rune's name spoken aloud, but her mind was already racing with glorious possibility! Would something similar work with the one carved into her own desk?! Though, she did remember the professor saying that different runes did different things.
What would HERS do?!?!
....and since Char had muttered that bit about being bored, Liv forced her own voice to drop in tone. "Show me how?" That would help her not be bored, surely!
Char held up her fingertip to show that there was blood there, and then popped it in her mouth, only to remove it again to cheerfully correct her friend, "Othala."
"I don't know if we could do anything very fun with that one." She said apologetically. "But I can show you later if we don't get to do stuff in class for sure!"
And then it suddenly occurred to her that there was in fact a professor in this class and MAYBE he would get mad because, yo, her desk, it was on fire.
She peeked over the non-burning flames at the professor.
