He didn't have any siblings close in age as his sister was so much older, so he wasn't sure he could completely relate.

"Oh, don't even give it a second thought, Miranda," he grinned as he peered down at her from the tree limb he was currently sitting on. "I knew you were having a bad day, we all do sometimes... I know you're not usually like that." Really, he had all but forgotten it anyway. But it did remind him that he should see how June was making her way around.

"Well, I hope your summer got better anyway, even if you didn't do anything exceptionally exciting." He reached up and pulled on the next branch, testing to see if it would hold his weight.

Randa was still watching go slowly from one branch to the next all methodical and such... she really liked him as a friend alot anD she totally understood why her friends liked to hang out with him... she was in the middle of making a mental note of this need to hang out with him more when she heard him say something about summer.
" Oh... It ended much better than it had begun... I went to Rian's for a visit and Cassie and I became friends... and I showed them how to make candy... It was alot of fun"... she said with a huge dorky grin... that is until she realized she was talking to a boy... and other eating candy it wasn't really something for a guy to get all excited over... candymaking.... Merlin she'd lost her mind....
