Henry was focused on climbing and he reached up a little higher, but that didn't mean he wasn't listening to Miranda. Yes, of course he knew she saw him, but he was more wondering about the rest of her summer. And if her home situation was any better. He didn't have any siblings close in age as his sister was so much older, so he wasn't sure he could completely relate.

"Oh, don't even give it a second thought, Miranda," he grinned as he peered down at her from the tree limb he was currently sitting on. "I knew you were having a bad day, we all do sometimes... I know you're not usually like that." Really, he had all but forgotten it anyway. But it did remind him that he should see how June was making her way around.

"Well, I hope your summer got better anyway, even if you didn't do anything exceptionally exciting." He reached up and pulled on the next branch, testing to see if it would hold his weight.
