He looked at her when he saw he blushed a bit but he tried not to mind it. You know, to not make things awkward. They just became acquaintances. "How do the head boy and head girl do it right? Be levelhead and calm in a situation that isn't calm at all" he asked. "I couldn't even focus at the feast because I was starving and I know I wasn't the only one. But you were too casual and was giving a lot of smiles to everyone." he gave a light applause.
His eyes blinked. He never knew that there were a bunch of people who likes sketching or painting. "That's great. It's nice to meet them and exchange notes about what to do and not to do." he smiled and nodded. "I should step up my sketching skills."
Good she was laughing. That is a great sign and Sean just feels better everytime that happens. Sean is not the best when making people laugh so this is good. "I feel pressured, Hady." he nudged her elbow softly "But yes I will be super comfortable" or so he thinks. He sat a in front of her so they could talk more casually rather than him standing up. "Oh... Did he/she graduated?" he assumed. "That's good. When you graduate you should start an art exhibit. Put all of your sketches in it. I'd go to that." because, why not.
"Oh, I know but I do appreciate hearing your opinion Sean," she replied with a light smile and nod of her head. It was interesting to hear and see how different people reacted to the same situation. Like he had mentioned he was intimidated because she was older and he hadn't known her. Her friends treated her no different because they all already knew her. It was something to think about.
"Well I can't entirely speak for the Head Boy but I know when I'm placed in a situation that seems overwhelming I always try to clear my head. Focus on just the situation that stands before me and everything I've learned." One step at a time. Break it down into steps and then it all doesn't seem so hard anymore.
"The feast I've grown used to. It also helps that when I'm at home my family is larger now then it used to be, lots of talking and laughter. My first year here though I was so tiny and it was really hard...making friends always helps with that."
The surprise on his face made her laugh.
"I wasn't all that into sketching or art really until a few years ago. I wanted to learn something not many artists knew and I began working under one of our previous professors, everything I've learned was from him." That was something she would always say no matter how good she got at it. If it hadn't have been for Ansley she probably wouldn't have tried so hard.
Pressured? Hady didn't want that. Feeling pressured wasn't good and she didn't want Sean to do something he didn't want to! And then he was nudging her and laughing. His laughter made her join in. As he moved about to get himself comfortable she went on sketching glancing between him and the parchment.
"Nah, she's still here. She was busy this morning so I decided to come out here and sketch anyhow." The next comment wasn't expected and it wasn't she had ever even considered.
"An exhibit? You think so?"
