Oh Merlin he was moving a tiny bit closer - which was her own fault for not using at least a normal voice during class discussion - and served as another small reminder that karmic lessons could be found everywhere. Note taking was proving to be a bit difficult with just one hand, her parchment moving every which way with the subtlest movement of her wrist, so her notes were looking disheveled and almost as though she had written them blind folded while riding on the Knight Bus. Which meant she would be rewriting these later.
And now was the time to finish the task she had started from the moment she had sat down. At least she had narrowed it down through class discussion that it was NOT any of the runes she had listed associated with healing. That much had been sparked from her memory. Not was it the same rune on the board the professor was describing so... that helped as well.
Glancing first back and forth between her desk and the blackboard to at least figure out which Aett she was working with, the seventh year eventually discovered that it was a rune belonging to the second and thus her attention went back to her textbook while she clumsily flipped through the pages.
"Perthro?" she whispered to herself as she tripled and quadrupled checked. "Rebirth, mystery, magic, divination..." She paused as the color in her cheeks rose and made her simply read over the next divination meanings before she continuing to softly read aloud. "...new beginning, prophecy..."
Oh wait...he had told them NOT to bother with the divination meanings...oops. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Paige's blue eyes scanned the page for the actually requested information and quickly added it to her parchment underneath her own drawing of the rune. He had just said ONE...but it seemed a waste not to list them all since they were so readily available in the textbook. She did, however, accent the one, ones rather, which she found the most appealing.
Hmmm...interesting that she had selected this particular desk considering the way the rune seemed to resonate with her on various levels. Was this rune carved anywhere in the birthing ward at St. Mungo's? Now she wished she had paid more attention to that sort of fine detail during her internship and was now too curious not to ask the next time she was there for a seminar.
