As usual, Ethan kept to himself as he listened to the Professor and obeyed his words. Theoretical subjects were not generally his strength, he'd always been better at the practical and logical tasks. Yet, Ancient Runes appeared to be an exception. Perhaps, because he didn't only see it as theory. Perhaps, because he felt there was more to it?
As for Eldar Futhark, he got to work as to what he knew. His brain wasn't embedded with the alphabets past or origins but rather with its possible uses. Thus, that was exactly what Ethan began scribbling about as he wrote not only his ideas but also that of what the Professor has mentioned.
