"The Elder Futhark is the oldest reconstructed form of the known runic alphabets! There are still inscriptions surviving today that predate the 6th century! It is considered to be Proto-Germanic, language wise! Its named the same way as the alphabet is named for alpha and beta or a and b, Futhark is spelled F-U-TH-A-R-K, that is Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz -also known as Thorn, Ansuz, Raidho, and Kenaz! Muggles know about runes and have discovered most of the known runestones! They even know that there's magical associations with them, though they tend to use them to attempt divination and obviously can't blow stuff up like we can! I think the Kylver stone is the most interesting of the discovered runestones because its a badly carved sequence of all the runes, so they say it was someone learning how to do them, probably a kid! Like us!" SHE was much better at carving them than whoever had done the Kylver stone though!
