Carl was born to Christian and Zelda Leonard on the 4th of March, 2077 in London, England. They were glad of his arrival and loved him dearly. In the winter of 2080, they passed away in a car crash and he was sent to stay with his Aunt Jenna and Uncle Dwight.

Jenna and Dwight treated the boy like a son rather than a nephew. The three lived peacefully and the orphan was thankfully not affected negatively by his parents' deaths. On the contrary, he grew up as a good and polite boy behaved well.

Since Carl was four years old, he began showing signs of magic, though he did not know it then. In the summer of 2088, he received his Hogwarts acceptance letter.
