Sophie will kill him. As much as he wanted his twins to be left at his grandparents’ house while the both of them are at work, Mordred could not succeed with his simple task. Well, at least half of the task. Catherine was very at home with her great-grandparents, but Noah was a different story. His son just won’t stop wailing the moment he releases him. By the look on his grandfather’s face, Alfonso was very irked. That left Mordred with no choice but to bring Noah with him, and leave the other twin with his grandmother.

The dragonologist hated to admit the fact that he was panicking. He already sent a short note to Sophie about what happened, and he wasn’t too sure if she was okay with it. At least she’s got a busy day ahead so that should take her mind off of the situation. Not that their twins are in danger—just the thought of the twins apart for the day made Mordred uncomfortable.

All worries were cast in the wind the moment his one year old son broke into smiles as soon as he saw his father. Mordred, keeping his composure, grinned and stooped down to pick up his son from the floor and gave him soft kisses on the head. “Having a good time, I see?” Noah responded with funny little noises, totally pleased to see his daddy again. “It’s time for you to eat, little one.” He said smiling at his son, and took a seat on a nearby armchair.
