You know that you don't need to be his friend or anything. Come on, let's go.
Ignoring his conscience was not something he was used to doing except when Ansley was involved. "I- It's v-very nice to see you again too.'' He meant it, really meant it. After weeks of just thinking about him, Zach was on cloud nine. Yet he was cautious despite accidentally stressing on the word 'very' just now. He did like Ansley a lot though they hardly knew each other. "It's a pleasant co-coincidence in my o-opinion.''
Zach's eyes moved back to the drawing. "Like I said before, you're ta-talented.'' He smiled then raised his eyes back to that handsome face. "I can't draw to save my life. I've gotten by using stick figures.'' Alright, his stammering was easing and his heart beats were returning to normal. "Would you mind if I sit with you for a moment?'' Zachary Parker, how daft are you exactly? Ansley tilted his head slightly as he looked up at Zach from his seat on the park bench. He gave him a slightly bemused smile at his words. It sounded like he was really happy to see him, but perhaps it was more the surprise of the coincidence. He knew he shouldn't read too much into things again, but of course that was what disappointed him last time. Maybe he should think about it the way he'd like and take a little bit of a risk. What was there really to lose? And then he might know for sure. "Yes, I think so too," he agreed to the pleasant coincidence remark, his face settling into a genuine smile. It was a rather nice coincidence if he'd say so himself, and he was rather pleased to have a second chance at seeing if there could be a connection. But he would see how it went. "Oh.." Ansley glanced down at his sketchbook and smiled. "Well, thanks," he said, looking back up. "They're just sketches really. I was thinking about some inspiration for painting maybe." Something a little more experimental maybe, but he didn't really know yet. He looked up and chuckled. "Oh, I think everyone can draw with some practice." Just like anything else, art sometimes took a little ambition and a lot of practice. Perhaps he could give him some pointers sometime.
He smiled and gestured to the empty space on the bench next to him. "Sure, join me. Do you visit this park often?" It would be quite the coincidence, especially seeing that Ansley lived so close by.
