Ringing her fingers together as she took timid strides down the corridor, Paige tried her best to settled the nerves that her entire body knotted up so tightly it felt as though Devil's Snare were trying to suffocate her. She preferred to avoid speaking about this as much as possible, but the seventh year was in need of another alley in the school since the majority of those she had shared her ability with were out of reach for one reason or another. There were those that remained, of course, but they had their own burdens to bear...and if anyone was going to help her get through this...along with some of the subtle changes she had only just begun to notice...it would be this woman.
Of whom Paige knew nothing about and that made her even more uneasy.
She immediately took note of the crystal ball, but not of its intended use, and approached it curiously as her fingers reached out and delicately touched its surface.
