The man sat there speechless for a second, his mouth hanging open somewhat.

"You're pregnant?" he suddenly burst out and not caring who heard. The man leapt out of his seat to scoop his wife into his arms. As if that wasn't enough, he spun her around in his arms. She had made him so happy!

"I'm so happy about this, Addi,'' he told her as he set her down before kissing her full on the lips.

And he had been such a worrywart.

"Being brave isn't always easy but I did my best," she whispered in reply knowing he would know full well what she was speaking about. Before either could be pulled into a path of sadness she smiled at him adding, "now it doesn't matter what I am since you're exactly where you belong." Right at her side where he had been since they had put aside their dislike of one another many years earlier.

Now it was her turn to waited with baited breath for her husbands reaction. The speechlessness Addi may have expected but what came along with it certainly wasn't and it had her laughing out loud in surprise. She didn't even answer until she was set back down onto her feet.

"I am," the blonde hummed softly against Connors lips when she had been kissed. "Only about five or so weeks but yes, come March or April we'll have a little baby added into our family."
