Rula had arrived at the station with most of her family and boarded the train with Eureka and Junia, but now she was alone. Eureka had gone off with Dante and Juni was off with her friends, and Rula...was alone. Which was fine for now, really. She didn't feel all that picky about whether she wanted someone around or wanted to be alone. She didn't feel much of anything at this point.

It was at least good that the weather was fairly sunny today, so she had another excuse for wearing her sunglasses. That was one of the few bright spots of today. ...No pun intended.

Slipping silently into an empty compartment, the fifth year plopped into the seat, set her cat's carrier beside her, then curled up into a ball, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin atop her arms to stare out the window.
