Front Desk When you first enter the library, you notice a large desk to your left. Scattered across the desk are stacks of books in various stages of aging, as well as a few rolls of old parchment. While the stacks may look haphazard to an onlooker, the librarian knows exactly where everything is located.
Posted on the front of the desk are a few signs. One reads "Be Warned, the Librarian is Always Watching." Another says "Tidy Foods (such as carrots) and Water are Now Allowed in the Study Area. -- Be Careful, Books In Other Sections Are Known To Be A Bit Bitey."
Sitting cross-legged on a backless cushioned chair behind the desk is the librarian. She greets you as you walk in. If you have any questions or are looking for any recommendations, feel free to stop by the desk for a chat. Have you found a book you would like to borrow? This is also the place to stop on your way out.
Acting suspicious? You may receive a narrowed eye glance. |
