His eyes never wavered until Blaise spoke up. "Yeah. Loads of friends." The sarcasm oozed from his lips but not in a venomous way. He wasn't attacking Blaise. Just confirming the unfortunate circumstances he had been thrown into.
Was he suppose to say hello again? Because he already had. The thirteen year olds eyes shifted once more from Blaise to Bentley. "I can leave if you want." Quote:

Anyways..he didn't want to think about that..not anymore. "You're right. I do like bad company...moth to a flame."
The Gryffindor shrugged. "She's your sister, you should know."
Oh? So Blaise knew the unfamiliar guy who made himself comfortable in their compartment. He supposed that would explain why he was bold enough to sit.
And what was he looking at?
Bentley squinted at him. "Seriously? If you're going to be this high strung you're going to have a hard time at school." Just saying. He stretched lazily. "Besides, if I wanted you to leave, a simple get out would have sufficed." Wasn't the world a better place when you could accept bad habits? Hm, cousin? The fact was Bentley did enjoy bad company and it wasn't like he was any better, not if you asked the vast majority of girls at the school--something he was starting to wonder if his new friend here had fallen into. "No rush to leave, mate. Get comfy, I wanna hear all about these new friends you've made that decided your face could use some improvements."
You'd think he'd have heard about a scuffle. Hogwarts kids were all about the drama and the crowds and the works. A fight on a train would be a hard thing to hide.
The Fourth Year gestured his quill toward the boy, watching it rise slowly but steadily from its spot on his lap. Of course it'd be taking notes, making them funnier while it was at it.
And a large congratulation to his cousin for not being a git right about now to the new guy.
