"Okay, okay. You aren't a Hufflepuff nor a Ravenclaw,'' Connor said with a laugh. "Well, it seems you'll have to do what your mom says.'' Addison was a woman who knew what she wanted and wanting, or hoping, Koen was in one of the remaining Houses.
"I will not,'' the man said, holding Koen safely. But Merlin! His boy was heavier. Koen's weight was already taking a toll on him. "Never mind. The tickle monster might just have to put you down.'' With a laugh, Connor lifted the boy off. Gone were the days when he could lift Koen for long distanced without a hitch.
"Chocolate for you it is. Three scoops like we said.'' Connor lead him off to get some of the treat. |
