She looked up at him with big and hopeful (and adoring) eyes. Yes? He would, right!? What he wanted to do was say no. Tell Jade no, and that you didn't always get what you wanted. Maybe even add that next time, when she remembered to her manners from the getgo he would make her something.
......But he wasn't about to do that. For three reasons mostly. One: it was her birthday. Two: she meant well. And three: that face that she was giving him could honestly melt any heart. "Yes, I'll make you a bracelet and a ring and a necklace." Sigh."Do you know how to get started or would you like help with that as well?" His voice was uncharacteristically soft. But at the same time it wasn't....since his five year old daughter did have him wrapped around her thumb.
