It was nice to be free and just do her own thing.

Finding a carriage that was empty, Scarlett smiled to herself. Maybe she'd take a nap - that was her goal this summer. Not to nap, but to just lay around and do NOTHING. Her dad was running for Minister, and as far as she knew, that meant they didn't have any vacations coming up.

Once she was settled in her seat, she opened her cat basket and let Snowball come out and stretch. The fluffy Persian crawled out and immediately stretched out, flexing his claws before settling into the seat next to her and curling up in a ball.
Hattie couldn't believe that it was time to go home already. She had had such a great first year, but she was excited for Summer. She adored summer so much. She was excited to see her father too. she knew that it was going to be a busy one for him, with him going up to be Minister. But she hoped that they would get to spend some time together.

She headed along the train corridor, trying to find herself somewhere to sit. She wanted to get a good spot, so that she could have a nice journey back. She opened a compartment door, and noted that she kind of knew the person in their. She was in the same house as her.

"Can I sit with you?"
